With the replacement of its entire continuous centrifugal station, the Turkish sugar factory Çorum Şeker has reached another milestone in its upgrade programme. Since the start of the 2025 campaign, seven reliable K3300F continuous centrifugals from BMA have been in operation. Together, they replace the old station and ensure smooth and efficient production.

Centrifugal station upgrade for more energy efficiency
The new machines were installed as part of an upgrade programme driven by Çorum Şeker since 2023 together with BMA. In several coordination meetings, the new centrifugal station was perfectly tailored to the factory’s requirements.
Continuous centrifugals for more capacity in sugar production
In recent years, Çorum Şeker had gradually replaced a number of batch centrifugals with E1810 machines from BMA. These have proved reliable and efficient in operation. The current project in continuous centrifugation was the next step in the upgrade.
Scheduled commissioning of continuous centrifugals
The new K3300F centrifugals were commissioned in September 2025, in time for the start of the campaign. Expert teams from BMA were on site to supervise assembly and commissioning. Since then, the continuous machines have been running smoothly and reliably in campaign operation.
Centrifugal station delivers strong performance in use
At the end of the campaign, Çorum Şeker were delighted with the performance of the centrifugal station. With this upgrade, they have formed the basis for reliable sugar production, higher capacity and more energy efficiency.
Outlook: integration of a new extraction plant
But the sugar factory’s upgrade programme is not yet complete. Following replacement of the centrifugals, Çorum Şeker are already looking at additional measures, such as integration of a new extraction plant, to further improve energy consumption and capacity.
